Update 19 March 2014 near pagetop here below.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was interested to read in your card that you've two more works in progress.  Presume one is    Experiences of a Self Published Author' .  More later.
I hope you won't take offence but your big book is full of typos and other inconsistencies.
1    It's usual to index by surname.  Looked for K Jones (see below) and saw that if anyone is looking for John Fuller, he's not
      under F.             F Jones ought to be in a bibliography.  Your references are scattered.
2    On p 255 it's Shyam Patiar but on the next page he's Shyan Pattiar.
3    p 86   a different   v  different a
4    p 136    inappropriate use of   -  in  in-appropriate
                     a married women
5    p 152      You talk about Tenants and Tennants  and use an unnecessary ' in Tenant's
                        'The Likes of 'Er'        might be better as   "The Likes of 'Er' "
6    In fact, your use of ' is generally askew despite my considerable elaboration sent to you well before publication.  I can only give a few examples:
      155    wholesaler's      158  Londoner's  in line 9 but it's OK further down.
                (( Mac-Rae or Macrae  - when faced with this type of Q it's easy to look 'em up
                  https://www.google.co.uk/#q=macrae+and+macrae ))
       261    employer's
                 the 1950's v 1950s and 50's v 50s   the matter will never be taken to court - it's personal preference.
                  However, in a serious work I'd recommend no '.
       313    staff and student's
7     292    line 6      and Youth'         With doesn't warrant W
One of your leaflets includes     brouser    .
Perhaps you will consider  Experiences of a Self-published Author.  It's arbitrary.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I really must stop.  All I want to do is to minimise the extent you portray yourself as - well - I 'll leave the words to you.

I wish you well and mean well.

My priorities at present include developing my next mag article here and a website on the carer world here.  Any comments will be appreciated.  Update 19 March 2014 - none.

Before finishing, my wife and I went to the Isle of Wight c 2010.  While there, I met Nigel Holland.  He told me about various meetings involving members of our 1959 to 1961 group at Pompey.  Have you been to any such meetings and would you know when there will be more?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was in the London Guildhall library in October 2013 doing research for  here    I came across "A H Jones of Grosvenor House" by K Jones.  You have surely used it in your book but I can't find anything in the Index.  If, by chance, you haven't, you know where to find it.
"the Index" raises another anomaly.  It's normally the one at the back.  You have one at the front and there's no page numbers. Wouldn't it be better titled "Contents" and include page numbers?
From you - 16 Dec 2012
Thank you for this and good to hear from you. Sorry for the delay in replying to you but I have only recently returned back after three weeks in the United States.
I was invited to the 90th banquet of the PIGS at Southdown College Waterlooville Hants before I left which was interesting and the students and staff were highly motivated to achieve excellence. This is shortly to appear on my webpage www.arthursimmspioneer.com  and I will also enter it onto Yola as well.
I have yet to actually find the chink in the wall to create a trickle and then a flood despite spending this year in personal promotion. I have some nice reviews but they don't seem to contribute much to actual sales. I saw Harriet Nailon who came to visit here in August and she said that Philip never made any money out of publishing and I am beginning to see why this is. The intermediate destributor 'Lightning Source', has price the book at £69 on both Amazon and now Waterstones which is extortionate. It is obviously a means of preventing unknown authors from getting a foot in anywhere.  The librarian at Westminster said that she can only purchase from a recognised agent who has priced it at a prohibitive £76. I have of course acted as an agent for them although they have not yet paid me.
I still have to have an invite to Highbury College (in the pipeline) and the now City College Brighton and Hove but contacts are being nurtured. India at the moment has yielded no response as yet and I am tempted to gate crash by personal visit.  Must keep promoting the title and not give in.
A second much smaller book entitled 'Experiences of a Self Published Author' is now in the planning stage, partly as a channel to unleash some pent up frustrations, but could be useful to others  contemplating publishing through 'virtual organisations'.
Wishing you both all the best for the Christmas season.
From you 7 Jan 2014
Thank you for your comments and also the attachment concerning A.H Jones who features prominently in my chapter on the development of the Hotel and Catering Institute as you know.
I am unclear about your other remarks however which I'm afraid lack details. Perhaps you would be kind to enough to list them so that corrections could be made for a second edition should there be one. The book was pub lished two years ago.
Update 19 March 2014
You state     -  I am unclear about your other remarks however which I'm afraid lack details. Perhaps you would be kind to enough to list them so that corrections could be made for a second edition should there be one.
You take the biscuit regarding reading.  The devil is in the detail  sent to you years ago - many pages of corrections and all ignored.  You have enough detail above on this page.  What more do you want?
